This lecture covers Multimedia tools and Computer Supported Collaboration
The human computer interfaces, HCI, to computer stored applications is achieved through multimedia interfaces. There are special tools to build multimedia interfaces as well as methods for collaborative design and evaluation of HCI.
At this lecture we will study the following areas
- Multimedia authoring tools
- User models.
- Multimedia on the WWW (download, stream, plug-in, 3D)
- Multimedia design and evaluation methods
- Computer supported communication and collaboration
